博士最后一年了。要好好学习，天天写东西。争取早点毕业！！！
公司么照开,但是只接老客户的生意现在。等毕业以后有时间了再继续做。毕竟给自己打工要比别人干强。
下面是一些最近课余活动拍下的一些照片。细心的朋友肯定已经看出有很多运动社团。：）我上次好好锻炼身体也是在两年多以前在伦敦了。现在趁开学，要主动一些加些社团，好好再把体力恢复起来。呵呵
爱丁堡的万圣节
Another benefit of
living in the city centre, besides shopping and different
facilities, is the festival. The Halloween day is just a
small example. I post a few photos which I took last evening
here, and hope you can share the joy with me. ^_^
Kendo Mates in the Pub.. .
Sports Clubs
My flat is near by
Edinburgh University's two Sport centres, which is very
convenient to find a few good clubs. Currently, I have
joined the
Kendo Club as planned,
then occasionally go to the
Taekwondo Club
on Thursday and
drop into
the
Napier Archery Club
on Sunday.
The Kendo Club
This Kendo Club is fantastic,
much more interesting than the one at Imperial College. The
teaching is good, people are all very nice, all that you can
expect in a good student club. Below is a
video that I captured on the Demo.

摄影暑训班习作：
夏天时，报了个教摄影（肖像，风景人太少没办起来）的暑训班。下面有我在其中两节课里拍的一些照片。虽然我的技术已经很高了，托宝贝的福也有非常好的设备，可是出去跟他们一起多有控制地实践实践，比较比较，也还是能学到不少东西。越来越认同一个格言："美女都是拍出来的"！我要说："美女都得拍，才能出来！"呵呵

Very
happily discovered that Napier has photographing
course, and they are holding a photography summer
school during the holiday. So I booked the advanced
Portrait and Landscape (not active) classes.
I knew you
may ask that why do I still need photographing
course, even I had been doing self-study, reading a
lot of books and albums, taken over dozen thousands
of great photographs. Well, I'd say that it's more
about confidence. I want to go to the class and
compare my photography knowledge with the academics,
and fulfil some blind spots of my photographing
knowledge.
The result,
however, was a little disappointing at the
beginning, because the first two classes are very
basic. However, in the third class, we started a lot
of practice, three sets (outdoor, studio flash and
tungsten light) in one two-hour class!
The photos
on the left and bottom are studio shoots taken on
the second class. The other ones above were taken
out door on the third class. After comparing both of
these two groups of photos, I think my photographing
style is natural like my paintings. Although we can
have more control over studio lights, the beauty and
changing environment of nature is still my favourite
photographing canvas. My skills improved again
through practising and comparing. I am now
more confident as a very experienced and stylish
photographer after these short summer classes.

Don and Graziella's Wedding
We did photographing for Don and Graziella last week. Using
two Canon 40D body with one 24-105mm L IS USM lens and one
40mm 1.4F USM Lens. The lighting was not great, and it
rained so heavily in the garden. However, we did managed to
get a few shoots.
By the way, Yang was also in the event as our film maker.
Just look below, can't image he could be more serious
anywhere else .. ;P
Karaoke Parties
Some friends may already knew that I have managed to
resource a new technology: The Professional Karaoke
System. I have enhanced my home PC & TV with the system,
with a song database of over 20,000 songs (original
karaoke video clip), in 5 languages (Mandarin,
Cantonese & Minnanese, English, Korean, Japanese) upto year
2007. I also bought a great second-hand home cinema system
(5 pillar speaker, one central and one bass) from the
cash-generators for only £59.99, to deliver the function. So
next time when you visiting us, let's enjoy a much better
Karaoke singing party! ~ V*^_^*V

ScotDoc 2008 in Glasgow
Another conference again, and another ScotDoc Equilibrium
Conference, this year in Glasgow University. Did another
rough presentation and still found time to walk around and
have fun. ^_^
Found a bride when I was walking around the Campus!
Instantly captured with my little Sony Compact. ~
Then I found another couple in the Church, and their
wedding ceremony is just about to start!!.. . so I recorded
- (click below)
Finally, when I got back that day, I saw fireworks
dancing happily outside my window!! ~~ ~ ^_^ a typical
"Felix" Day.
